Research Interests
I have a broad interest in ecology, evolutionary biology, and conservation. My goal is to use model systems and meta-data to test theory, to understand adaptation and adaptive processes, and to inform conservation decisions. My latest work also involves developing new theory. I’m familiar with a range of model systems, including salmon, turtles, and salamanders. I’ve also worked extensively in the field, from South Africa to Nicaragua, on a variety of other groups, including lizards, snakes, small mammals and birds.
